It’s that time of year again where the biggest football game of the season for all college football fans rolls around — The National Championship. This year’s matchup pinned the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs against each other. This was the second time in seven seasons that two teams from the same conference competed for the National Title. The game was played in Atlanta, Georgia, at Mercedes Benz Stadium. There were many celebrities in attendance: The Zac Brown Band who performed the National Anthem, Kendrick Lamar who performed the half-time show, Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, and even Donald Trump —the president of the United States. The Crimson Tide took the title again in overtime 26-23. This is Alabama’s seventeenth National Championship Title and coach Nick Saban’s sixth National Championship Title. Coach Nick Saban in now tied with one of Alabama’s former legendary coaches, Paul Bear Bryant, for the most National Titles in college football history.
