On Saturday, January 20th, SHS’s student council hosted the Snowball. This dance was cleverly named after the winter dance in the popular TV show “Stranger Things.” The venue for the Snowball was Springville’s VFW hall. The hall was wonderfully decorated in blue, silver, and white, creating a beautiful illusion of a winter night in the snow. Everyone dressed in their best. Students danced to everything from  the “Cha-cha Slide” to Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow.” After all that dancing, everyone skimmed the huge snack table, with food such as sandwiches, cupcakes, and fruit. Student council also hosted a free photo booth that turned out AMAZING! In my opinion, this dance was a major success!
