On February 13th, Springville High School’s Beta Club hosted a blood drive for the whole school to participate in. People from different classes all over the school came down to the blood-mobiles to graciously donate their time, energy, and blood to save lives of those who needed it. Each donation given will help save three lives. Some people went above and beyond, giving not only their blood, but also some platelets, becoming “elite donors.” As a whole school, we donated 68 pints. Springville’s great donation of the fluid of life will save 204 people, plus more with the platelet count. In this season of love, Springville High School students perfectly showed what it means to really love – putting others before yourself. On behalf of the Beta Club, we thank every single person who donated and helped us help others. It was truly a beautiful day of saving lives.
