Springville soccer hosted its first area game of the 2019 season, and it was against a very hard opponent. Coming off of their first area win against Mortimer Jordan, the Tigers had a lot of confidence. The confidence showed throughout the game as forward Tristan Hardiman scored an early goal to set the tone for the rest of the game. Striker Caleb Utsey was able to add to the score, and the first half ended 2-0. A little mistake in the start of the second half led to Leeds making the game 2-1, but it did not last long as midfielder Brantley Mills knocked in a header off a beautiful corner kick. Caiden King was able to put more onto Leeds as he made the score 4-1. The Tigers would then gain an own goal from Leeds to make it a final score of 5-1. Springville goes into its next area game against Saint Clair 2-0. Make sure to go out and support your Tigers
