On March 31 the president of Venezuela announced that the country will not be using electricity for 30 days. This is hard for the Venezuela people to take because of the already-taxing nationwide blackout. It is noted that the power will be shut off deliberately, workdays will end at 2pm, and schools will be closed for the remainder of the 30-day period. The reason of this 30-day rationing period is that the president of Venezuela says it is because of terrorism and sabotage and he blames the U.S. The black out that Venezuela still suffers from that was announced on March 7 has taken more then 20 lives and, with the addition of the electricity ration, things are not looking good for Venezuela. Let us hope and pray for their safety.
