Growing up, athletes dream about playing at the collegiate level, even though 7 percent of high school athletes make it to that level. Some of our athletes here at Springville High School have recently signed or committed to a college.

Chase Isbell has signed with Samford University on a baseball scholarship.

Abby Swaney signed with Samford on a softball scholarship.

Brandon Daniels signed with Lee University on a baseball scholarship.

Brant Brown signed with the University of North Alabama on a baseball scholarship.

Hannah King signed with Marion Military Institute on a softball scholarship.

Riley Barret signed a volleyball scholarship with Wallace State Community College.

Caleb Utsey has committed to the Universty of West Alabama for soccer.

Jack Hobbs has committed to Jefferson State Community College for golf.

Caleb Utsey said, “I am very excited to continue my soccer career at the college level.”

Jack Hobbs couldn’t be more excited saying, “This is a great opportunity to play golf at another level and get a free education.”

If you are looking to be a college athlete, start working harder and harder everyday. That 7 percent could include you.
